Originally planned for June, this event was postponed during an extreme heatwave, highlighting the urgency of the challenge.

Join Christiana Figueres and the Outrage + Optimism podcast for a live conversation about how education, research and innovation can equip the next generation to lead climate action.

Hosted by the University of Bath as part of its 60th anniversary Adelard Series, this special event brings together global climate leadership, world-leading research and industry expertise to explore how we can accelerate the transition to a more sustainable future.

Christiana Figueres, the former UN climate chief who helped secure the Paris Agreement, will be joined by Professor Phil Taylor (Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Bath and an internationally recognised expert in renewable energy systems) and colleagues.
